Informationen über O3B FM13
O3B FM13 is a communication satellite built by THALR and operated by O3BS. It was launched on March 9, 2018, from the ELS launch pad at FRGUI using a Soyuz-ST-B rocket. The satellite measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 2 meters and spans 12 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. Its dry mass is 500 kg and it weighed 700 kg at launch. O3B FM13 is equipped with 12 Ka-band transponders for communication purposes and has a lifespan of approximately 10 years. It uses the LS-400 AOCS motor system for attitude control and its power supply consists of two deployable solar arrays along with batteries to ensure continuous operation. The satellites structure includes a box trap design with two pan extensions.
