O3B FM14 is a communication satellite manufactured by THALR for O3BS and was launched on March 9, 2018, from ELS at FRGUI using the Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle. The satellite has a configuration of ELiTeBus-1000, measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 2 meters and spans 12 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It is equipped with 12 Ka-band transponders for communication purposes and carries two deployable solar arrays along with batteries as power sources. The dry mass of O3B FM14 is 500 kg, with a launch mass of 700 kg. The satellites mission lifetime is expected to be 10 years. It uses an LS-400 AOCS motor for its attitude control system and has a box trap+2 pan shape design.
