BEIDOU-3 M2 (also known as Beidou DW 25) is a navigation satellite launched by CNSA on November 5, 2017, from Xichang Satellite Launch Centers LC3 pad using the Chang Zheng 3B/YZ-1 launch vehicle. The spacecraft measures 2.2 meters in length and has a diameter of 1.7 meters with a span of 10 meters when fully deployed. It features a dry mass of 850 kilograms and had a launch mass of 1014 kilograms. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries, BEIDOU-3 M2 was designed for a 12-year lifetime mission as part of the Beidou navigation constellation. Manufactured by CAST, its purpose is to provide navigation services. The satellite has a box shape with two panels and is identified under NORAD catalog ID 43002 with OBJECT_ID 2017-069B.
