IRIDIUM 129, also known as Iridium Next SV129, is a communication and traffic monitoring satellite operated by IRIDS (Iridium). It was launched on October 9, 2017, from AFWTR SLC4E using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 3.1 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 9.4 meters. It features an EliteBus configuration with a dry mass of 700 kilograms and a launch mass of 860 kilograms. Equipped with L-band payload, Ka-band cross-links, downlinks, ADS-B payload, and AIS-receiver, the satellite is designed for a 10-year mission but planned to operate for up to 15 years. Its power system consists of two deployable solar arrays and batteries, and it has a half hex prism+2 pan shape.
