SES-10 is a communication satellite with the OBJECT_ID 2017-017A and BUS Eurostar 3000. It was launched on March 30, 2017, from AFETR using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle from LC39A. The satellite has dimensions of 7 meters in length, 3.3 meters in diameter, and a span of 35 meters. Its dry mass is 3000 kilograms, with an initial launch mass of 5300 kilograms. It carries 50 high-power Ku-Band transponders for communication purposes and is equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries to provide power.
