ORBCOMM FM111, also known as Orbcomm FM111, is a US satellite with NORAD Catalog ID 40089 and OBJECT ID 2014-040D. It was launched on July 14, 2014, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations Launch Complex 40 aboard a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The spacecraft is based on the SN-100A bus with dimensions of 1 meter in length and 0.5 meters in diameter, featuring a span of 13 meters due to deployable solar arrays that also serve as its power source alongside batteries. It has a dry mass of 158 kilograms and launch mass of 172 kilograms. The satellite is equipped with an Orbcomm payload for communication M2M/IoT and traffic monitoring, along with an AIS-receiver. Its shape is described as box+pan+ant, and it was manufactured by SNVL. The satellites expected lifetime is over five years.
