NAVSTAR 70 (USA 251), also known as GPS IIF-6, is a US satellite for navigation purposes manufactured by BOES and operated by AFSMC. It was launched on May 17, 2014, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations SLC37B pad using a Delta 4M+(4,2) launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 2.5 meters in length, 1.8 meters in diameter, and spans 18 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It carries the GPS SVN 67 payload for navigation purposes, is equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power generation, and has a dry mass of 1500 kg and a launch mass of 1630 kg. The satellite operates in a 3-Axis stabilized configuration and was designed to have a lifetime of approximately 12 years.
