GLOBALSTAR M082, also known as Globalstar M082, is a communication satellite identified by NORAD_CAT_ID 38042 and OBJECT_ID 2011-080C. It was launched on December 28, 2011, from the Tsimlyanskaya Missile Test Site (TYMSC) Launch Complex 31 using the Soyuz-2-1A launch vehicle. The satellite is owned by GLOBL and operated for communication purposes with a mission lifetime of 15 years.
The spacecraft has dimensions including a length of 4 meters, diameter of 2 meters, and span of 12 meters. It was manufactured by THALR as part of the Prisma series using ELiTeBus-1000 configuration. The satellite features 16 C-to-S-band transponders and 16 L-to-C-band transponders for communication.
