The COSMOS 2476 [GLONASS-M] satellite, also known as Kosmos-2475, was launched on November 4, 2011, from the TYMSC launch site using a Proton-M/Briz-M launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and spans 7.8 meters with its solar arrays fully deployed. The satellites dry mass is 1200 kilograms, and it had an initial launch mass of 1450 kilograms. Manufactured by RESH, it uses a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus for navigation purposes. It has two deployable solar arrays and batteries to supply power. With a designed lifetime of seven years, the satellite is owned by KVR/IACG and operates as part of the GLONASS constellation.
