The COSMOS 2464 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2466, is a navigation satellite launched on September 2, 2010, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-M/DM-2 launch vehicle. This Russian satellite uses a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus for its configuration and has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 7.8 meters when solar arrays are deployed. It had a dry mass of 1,200 kilograms and a launch mass of 1,450 kilograms. The satellites power system consists of two deployable solar arrays and batteries. Manufactured by RESH for KVR/IACG, the primary mission is navigation with an expected lifetime of seven years.
