The COSMOS 2466 [GLONASS-M] satellite, also known as Kosmos-2464, is a navigation satellite launched on September 2, 2010, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-M/DM-2 launch vehicle. It has a configuration of a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus and was manufactured by RESH for KVR/IACG. The satellite measures 4 meters in length, with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a span of 7.8 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. At launch, it had a mass of 1450 kg and a dry mass of 1200 kg. It is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries, designed for a mission lifetime of seven years. The satellites shape consists of a cylinder with antennas and two panels. Its purpose is to support navigation services as part of the GLONASS system, using the Uragan-M No. 36L payload.
