COSMOS 2443 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2443, is a Russian navigation satellite launched on September 25, 2008, from the Tyuratam Space Center Launch Complex using the Proton-M/DM-2 launch vehicle. The spacecraft uses a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus and measures approximately 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a span of 7.8 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It has a dry mass of 1,200 kilograms and was designed for a seven-year operational lifetime. The satellite is part of the GLONASS navigation system and provides navigation services. Its power supply consists of two deployable solar arrays and batteries, while its shape includes a cylindrical body with antennas and solar panels. The satellites owner is KVR/IACG, and it was manufactured by RESH (Research Electro-Engineering Institute).
