GALAXY 19 (G-19), also known as Galaxy 19, is a communication satellite manufactured by LOR and owned by INTELD. Launched on September 24, 2008, from the KLA launch pad at SEAL using a Zenit-3SL launch vehicle, this SSL-1300 bus satellite has a dry mass of 2000 kg and a total launch mass of 4640 kg. It is equipped with 2 deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply and carries a payload consisting of 24 C-band and 28 Ku-band communications transponders, totaling 44 operating units. The satellite has dimensions of 5.6 meters in length, 2.8 meters in diameter, and spans up to 31 meters when fully deployed. It was designed for a planned lifetime of 20 years but operated for 13 years.
