Launched on December 20, 2007, from SLC17A at AFETR using the Delta 7925-9.5 launch vehicle, this Series 4000 configuration satellite measures 1.5 meters in length and 1.9 meters in diameter with a span of 19.3 meters. The spacecraft has a dry mass of 910 kg and a launch mass of 1077 kg. It is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries, featuring a Box + 2 Pan shape design with an RCS of 2. NAVSTAR 61 was manufactured by LMVF for AFSMC and carries the GPS SVN 57 payload as part of its navigation mission.
