The COSMOS 2431 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2433, is a Russian navigation satellite launched on October 26, 2007, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. It operates on a Uragan-M bus with a configuration of 3-axis stabilization and has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 7.8 meters. The satellite has a dry mass of 1,200 kg and a launch mass of 1,450 kg. It is equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply and serves as part of the GLONASS navigation system with an expected operational lifetime of 7 years. Manufactured by RESH (Russian Engineering Specialized Holding), it was launched to support KVR/IACGs navigation mission and carries a Uragan-M No. 20L payload.
