The COSMOS 2433 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2431, is a Russian navigation satellite launched on October 26, 2007, from the Tyuratam Space Centers Launch Complex LC81/24 using a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. With dimensions of 4 meters in length and 1.5 meters in diameter, it has a span of 7.8 meters and a dry mass of 1200 kilograms. The satellite is based on the Uragan-M bus with a configuration of a 3-axis stabilized design and was manufactured by RESH for KVR/IACG. It carries the Uragan-M No. 18L payload and is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. Its primary mission is navigation, and it has an expected lifetime of 7 years.
