It was manufactured by LMVF (Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems) for AFSMC (Air Force Space Command). NAVSTAR 60 carries the GPS SVN 55 payload, designed for navigation purposes and powered by two deployable solar arrays along with batteries.
