The COSMOS 2418 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2419, is a Russian navigation satellite launched on December 25, 2005, from the Tyuratam Site (TYMSC), specifically Launch Pad LC81/24. It was deployed using a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle and has a configuration of a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus. The satellite measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and spans 7.8 meters. Its dry mass is approximately 1,200 kg while its launch mass was around 1,450 kg. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power generation, the satellites mission focuses on navigation purposes.
