COSMOS 2419 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2417, is a navigation satellite launched on December 25, 2005, from the Tyuratam Space Center using a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. It operates in a configuration with a 3-Axis stabilization system and has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 7.8 meters. The satellite was manufactured by POL for the KVR/IACG and carries the Uragan No. 98L payload as part of its navigation mission. It weighs approximately 1200 kg dry mass with an initial launch mass of 1450 kg, equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply. The satellite has a cylindrical shape with antennas and two panels, designed to serve a three-year lifetime in orbit.
