The COSMOS 2403 [GLONASS] satellite, also known as Kosmos-2404, was launched on December 10, 2003, from the Tsemelnik Site (TYMSC) using a Proton-K/Briz-M launch vehicle. This navigation satellite is part of the Uragan series and uses a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus configuration. The spacecraft has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 7.8 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It has a launch mass of 1415 kg and a dry mass of 1200 kg. Its power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries. The satellites shape is described as cylindrical with antennas and panels, and it was manufactured by NPOPMR for the KVR/IACG.
