COSMOS 2402 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2403, is a navigation satellite launched on December 10, 2003, from the TYMSC launch site using LC81/24 and Proton-K/Briz-M as its launch vehicle. The satellite has a bus configuration of Uragan and is 3-Axis stabilized. It measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and spans 7.8 meters when fully deployed, including solar arrays. Its dry mass is 1200 kg, and it had an initial launch mass of 1415 kg. The satellite was manufactured by POL (KVR/IACG) for navigation purposes and carries the Uragan No. 95L payload. It uses two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply and has a design lifetime of three years. Its shape is described as Cyl + Ant + 2 Pan, with an RCS value of 3.981.
