The COSMOS 2395 [GLONASS] satellite, also known as Kosmos-2396, was launched on December 25, 2002, from the TYMSC launch site using a Proton-K/DM-2 vehicle from LC81/23. This navigation satellite is part of the Uragan series and has a configuration that is 3-axis stabilized. The spacecraft measures 4 meters in length, with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a span of 7.8 meters. It was manufactured by POL for KVR/IACG and carries the Uragan No. 93L payload. Its dry mass is 1200 kg, and it had an initial launch mass of 1450 kg. The power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries to ensure operational continuity during eclipses.
