COSMOS 2396 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2395, is a navigation satellite launched on December 25, 2002, from the TYSMC launch site using a Proton-K/DM-2 vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 4 meters in length and 1.5 meters in diameter with a span of 7.8 meters, featuring two deployable solar arrays for power generation. It weighs approximately 1,450 kg at launch and has a dry mass of 1,200 kg. Operated by KVR/IACG, the satellite is equipped with the Uragan No. 92L payload and follows a 3-axis stabilized configuration. Its mission is to support navigation services as part of the GLONASS constellation, with an expected operational lifetime of three years.
