The satellite COSMOS 2394 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2394, is a navigation satellite launched on December 25, 2002, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. It measures approximately 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and has a span of 7.8 meters due to its solar arrays. The satellite was manufactured by POL and is part of the Uragan series, specifically Uragan No. 91L. It weighs around 1200 kilograms dry and had an initial launch mass of 1450 kilograms. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power, it uses a 3-Axis stabilized configuration. The spacecraft is owned by KVR/IACG and was designed to operate for approximately three years.
