The COSMOS 2382 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2382, is a Russian navigation satellite launched on December 1, 2001, from the TSYMC LC81/24 launch pad using the Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. The satellite uses the Uragan bus and has a configuration of a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus. It measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters, and its span is 7.8 meters. The dry mass of the satellite is 1200 kg, while its launch mass was 1450 kg. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power generation, the satellite has been in operation since its launch date with a mission lifetime of five years.
