INTELSAT 10 (IS-10), also known as PAS 10, is a communication satellite built by BOES and launched on May 15, 2001, from the Tymshchyna Space Center using a Proton-K/DM-2M launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 6 meters in length, 2.3 meters in diameter, and a span of 26 meters. The satellites dry mass is 2000 kg with a launch mass of 3772 kg. Equipped with a HS-601HP / BSS-601HP configuration, it provides communication services through its payload of transponders: 24 (+8) C-band and 24 (+8) Ku-band transponders. Its power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries to support its operations over a designed lifetime of 15 years. The satellite is owned by PAN and serves as part of the INTELSAT constellation for communication purposes.
