GLOBALSTAR M057 is a communication satellite identified by NORAD CAT ID 25943 and OBJECT ID 1999-058A. Launched on October 18, 1999, from the TYMSC launch site using a Soyuz-U-PVB launch vehicle, it has a configuration known as LS-400. The satellite measures 1.5 meters in length and 0.6 meters in diameter with a span of 12 meters. It weighs 380 kilograms dry and had an initial launch mass of 450 kilograms. Manufactured by LOR, the satellite is owned by GLOBT and carries the payload Globalstar FM57 for communication purposes. Its power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries.
