GLOBALSTAR M024 (also known as Globalstar M024) is a communication satellite with the NORAD Catalog ID 25883 and OBJECT_ID 1999-043A. Manufactured by LOR, it was launched on August 17, 1999, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (AFETR), using Delta 7420-10C as the launch vehicle from SLC17B pad. The satellite is configured with a LS-400 system and is owned by GLOBT. It has dimensions of 1.5 meters in length, 0.6 meters in diameter, and a span of 12 meters. Its dry mass is 380 kg, and it had an initial launch mass of 450 kg. The satellite is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. It has a mission lifetime of 7.5 years and its purpose is communication. The satellites shape consists of a box with two panels, and it features the LS-400 AOCS motor for attitude control. Its radar cross-section (RCS) is 2.3881 square meters. The payload carried is Globalstar FM24.
