COSMOS 2317 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2317, is a navigation satellite launched on July 24, 1995, from the TYSMC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. Manufactured by POL, this satellite carries the Uragan No. 81L payload and operates with a configuration of 3-axis stabilization for its mission. The spacecraft measures 4 meters in length, has a diameter of 1.5 meters, and a span of 7.8 meters. It had a launch mass of 1,300 kg and a dry mass of 1,200 kg.
