The COSMOS 2235 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2236, is a Russian navigation satellite launched on February 17, 1993, from the Tyuratam Space Center using a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. It was manufactured by POL and stabilized in a 3-axis configuration. The spacecraft has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 7.8 meters. With a dry mass of 1200 kilograms and a launch mass of 1300 kilograms, it was designed to operate for approximately three years. Its mission payload is the Uragan No. 57L system, equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply. The satellite is owned by VKS and serves navigation purposes as part of the GLONASS constellation.
