COSMOS 2205 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2206, is a Russian navigation satellite launched on July 30, 1992, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 4 meters in length and 1.5 meters in diameter, with a span of 7.8 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It weighs around 1300 kilograms at launch and is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. The satellite is equipped with the Uragan No. 74L payload for navigation purposes and follows a 3-Axis stabilized configuration, manufactured by POL. Its expected operational lifetime was three years.
