The COSMOS 2204 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2205, is a Russian satellite launched on July 30, 1992, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. It was manufactured by POL and belongs to the VVSR (Russian Space Forces) for navigation purposes. The satellite has a bus configuration of Uragan, is 3-Axis stabilized, and measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a span of 7.8 meters. It weighs 1200 kg dry mass and had an initial launch mass of 1300 kg. The spacecrafts power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries.
