The COSMOS 2204 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-2205, is a Russian satellite launched on July 30, 1992, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. It was manufactured by POL and belongs to the VVSR (Russian Space Forces) for navigation purposes. The satellite has a bus configuration of Uragan, is 3-Axis stabilized, and measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a span of 7.8 meters. It weighs 1200 kg dry mass and had an initial launch mass of 1300 kg. The spacecrafts power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries. Its mission was intended to last for three years, and it carries the payload Uragan No. 72L. The shape is described as cylindrical with antennas and two panels.
