The COSMOS 2141 [GLONASS] satellite, also known as Kosmos-2141, was launched on April 4, 1991, from the TYMSC launch site using a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle from LC200/39. The spacecraft is part of the Uragan series and measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a span of 7.8 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It has a dry mass of 1200 kilograms and was launched with a total mass of 1300 kilograms. The satellite is 3-Axis stabilized, equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply. Its purpose is navigation as part of the GLONASS system. The satellites shape consists of a cylinder with antennas and two panels. It was manufactured by POL and owned by UNKSR. The satellite had an expected operational lifetime of 3 years.
