The COSMOS 2139 [GLONASS] satellite, also known as Kosmos-2139, was launched on April 4, 1991, from the TYMSC launch site using a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. It is part of the Uragan series and has a configuration of 3-Axis stabilized. The satellite measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 1.5 meters and spans 7.8 meters when its components are deployed. Its dry mass is 1,200 kg, and it had an initial launch mass of 1,300 kg. The satellite was manufactured by POL for navigation purposes and features two deployable solar arrays and batteries to power the equipment onboard.
