COSMOS 1884 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-1884, is a satellite manufactured by OAZ for navigation purposes. Launched on September 16, 1987 from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 vehicle, it has a bus type Uragan and a dry mass of 1200 kg with a launch mass of 1300 kg. The satellite measures 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and its span is 7.8 meters. It features a configuration known as 3-Axis stabilized and utilizes two deployable solar arrays along with batteries for power generation.
