COSMOS 1778 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-1778, is a navigation satellite launched on September 16, 1986, from the TYMSC launch site using the Proton-K/DM-2 vehicle from LC200/40. The satellite was manufactured by OAZ and is part of the Uragan series with a 3-Axis stabilized configuration. It measures 4 meters in length, has a diameter of 1.5 meters, and spans 7.8 meters.
