COSMOS 1650 [GLONASS], also known as Kosmos-1650, is a navigation satellite launched on May 17, 1985, from the TYMSC launch site using LC200/39 and a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. The spacecraft has a length of 4 meters, a diameter of 1.5 meters, and a span of 7.8 meters. It was manufactured by OAZ for GUKOS and carries the Uragan No. 20L payload. Its dry mass is 1200 kg with a launch mass of 1300 kg. Equipped with 2 deployable solar arrays and batteries, COSMOS 1650 has a configuration of 3-axis stabilization for its mission which lasted approximately 3 years. The satellites shape consists of a cylinder with antennas and two panels, and it was part of the Uragan series designed for navigation purposes.
