Progress 95 Cargo Craft Launches to Resupply Station Crew

The unpiloted Roscosmos Progress 95 spacecraft is safely in orbit and headed to the International Space Station following its launch at 6:21 p.m. EDT (3:21 a.m. Baikonur time Sunday, April 26) on a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

The spacecraft is scheduled to dock autonomously at 8 p.m. Monday, April 27, to the aft port of the space station's Zvezda module. NASA's live rendezvous and docking coverage will begin at 7:15 p.m. on NASA+, Amazon Prime, and the agency's YouTube channel. Progress 95 is delivering about three tons of food, fuel, and supplies to the orbiting laboratory.
